A: It is what it sounds like – a refrigerator that has two zones. These zones can be set at different temperatures to keep foods and drinks chilled to their specific ideal temperatures. In many cases dual zone systems include a refrigerator and a freezer but in some cases this may include two refrigerator areas that can be set at two separate temperatures.

A: We strive to accommodate each individual customer’s unique needs so there are no specific limitations to the type of refrigerator you can have designed. We can do small refrigeration systems intended for drinks and other small items, or we can do entire industrial freezers for large quantities of food for restaurants, hotels, schools and other applications. Each case is completely individual.

A: This varies depending on the brand and model of the system. On average, you can expect a properly maintained fridge to keep going for at least ten years, with some of the best models lasting upward of twenty years with regular maintenance and service.

A: You should have your refrigerator inspected at least once a year to make sure it’s functioning properly and any time you feel there may be an issue with performance.
